Ancient Wisdom, Modern
Use
By Ken Wiancko MD, FRCS, FACS
"Life developed under the influence of the earth's
magnetic field. It logically follows that magnetism and the interference
with the body's electromagnetic activity play such a major role
in health and disease.
The ancient Greeks discovered lodestone, a magnetic
rock that had healing properties. The early Chinese recorded the
use of magnets in medical literature. Medical use of magnets has
been reported throughout the ages, and in recent years, has been
the subject of worldwide interest."
History has revealed that the Hebrews, Chinese, Arabs, Indians and Egyptians have used the therapeutic qualities of magnets so it is hardly a new form of treatment.
While the benefits and scope of magnetic therapy as a non-invasive and complementary method of treatment are still being researched, many people worldwide each year discover their usefulness thereby fuelling the therapy’s popularity.
We at Magnets 4 Therapy have been using magnets in our clinic for nearly ten years now and achieved some fantastic results (that we are not allowed to write about here), we are not advocating that magnets heal all merely that they encourage the body’s own energy systems to work more efficiently in a variety of ways. Magnetic therapy is a great adjunct to more traditional approaches and in the years that we have been working with magnetics we have found very few folk that have not found some benefit in the usage of magnetic therapy.
